Biography
Daniel R. Snyder is a writer and adjunct instructor of English, with stories and essays published throughout the United States and Canada. Years ago, he immigrated to the small haven of Saginaw, Michigan, where he lives with his wife Jennean and his cat Kizzie, near his stepdaughter Megan and his children, Cassi and Dylan, who still come to visit him on the occasional weekend. His better works have appeared in various literary journals, including Bellowing Ark, Controlled Burn, Whistling Shade, and Adirondack Review, while the bad works keep a fire in his wood stove continuously burning through the cold, dark nights of Michigan’s winter. He is an unapologetic fan of Star Trek and Ernest Hemingway, and has no problem using them both in the same sentence. When he’s not writing or teaching, he can be found making huge piles of sawdust in his workshop and playing with the barn cats.

Sir Thomas Mallory, and John Boorman for successfully bringing Morte d'Artur to the big screen in EXCALIBUR (with the possible exception of CASABLANCA, the best movie ever made)...Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln, Louise Erdrich, Sherman Alexie, and Mary Shelley.
