An "accidental author," I became an independent publisher after a mental implosion propelled me into an orbital life. A walk in my shoes-my most intimate details of mood, medication, and mania.

Biography
First a daughter and then a guardian, I am wife, mother, grandmother and friend. I am the family caregiver. Writer by desire and author by accident, the illness which forced hypergraphia created a fascinating read. "Life Is Like a Line" is a story of genetics, joy, disappointment, forgiveness, and grief. It began in the autumn of my 48th year, it was Manic-Depression (the politically correct name is Bipolar Disorder) and after that episode, my life would never be the same.
Inspiration
I thank God for the strength to fight the suicidal tendencies and tries that so strongly wanted me. Had it not been for the encouragement of my psychiatrist and my husband, history would not have been written. There is a stigma attached to mental illness that must be fought, for children and for those who have no voice. This is the book that will open eyes ... and hearts.
