    Biography

    I am the Chief Editor and Publisher of The Ranfurly Review, and an Associate Editor at The Scruffy Dog Review, both of which are literary journals. I have published short stories, poems, non-fiction articles and reviews in both print and online publications.

    My novel, Hunting Jack, was serialised in 2004 by US-based publisher Keep It Coming, and my first chapbook, Fringe Fantastic: The Poet's Experience of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, was published in paperback in December 2005 to critical acclaim. Poolside Poetry is my second paperback and was published in March 2007.

    I have published three e-books of poetry; Brick by Brick in April 2005, Silly Poems for Wee People Vol.1 in March 2006, and Selektion in May 2007. Also in 2007, I edited my first anthology, Full Circle – An ARS Concordia Anthology.

    I live in Edinburgh with my wife and daughter. Other intereste of mine include travelling (when I can squeeze it in), the search for silence, fake falling, quaffing, fly fishing, and animals.

    Inspiration

    I've been very inspired by writers such as Paul Auster, Ian Rankin, William McIlvanney, Janice Galloway, and Rick Lupert.
