Writing machine: purveyor of postmodern fiction and more since 1975
Look and Listen
Biography
Christopher Nosnibor is a writing machine. His interests are diverse, as is his output, which spans fiction, literary criticism, poetry and general spouting. He is the author of 'THE PLAGIARIST' (2008), 'Postmodern Fragments: Writings on Work, Technology and Contempoary Living' (2008) and 'Bad Houses' (2006), and various obscure pamphlets. He is also the co-author of C.N.N., a multimedia extravaganza produced in collaboration with Stuart Bateman. He is an avid music fan and has more records than he can listen to. He goes to gigs a lot, and writes reviews for 'Whisperin and Hollerin.' He is also a recluse, a fan of real ales and a 24/7 enigma. He also occasionally makes stuff up.
Inspiration
Life, art, literature and a revolutionary zeal conspire to make writing a compulsion, not a mere passtime. Drawing equally on experimental and contemporary fiction, literary theory and music, both mainstream and obscure, I strive to gnaw away at the niceties of modern culture and expose what lies beneath the veneer. This isn't to say that I or my writing lacks humour, it's just prone to being rather dark and absurd, often at the same time. What's my inspiration? Whatever comes my way: I'm a cultural sponge.
