Biography

My name is Chandra Adam, pen name Chance and I am the author of Shameless. I am currently in school, working to get my phd in psychology, but my passion is the written word. I have been writing for a long time with my first effort being penned at the tender age of 9.For the longest time, I put my writing on hold to raise two sons, but realized in 2006 that the fire within would not allow me to put it on the back burner any longer. I have always written songs to sing in church, and was told I should make a career out of writing, and Chance was born. In my spare time, when I am not walking dogs at the animal shelter or playing games with my kids, I love to read, listen to music and dance. I love to have fun, make others laugh, and give a kind word to make someone's life better even if just for a day! My mission in life is to touch a life one book at a time and show through my writing that true unconditional love is possible, no matter the shape, size, color or orientation.

Inspiration

My inspiration has always been Phylis Wheatley and Harriet Tubman. Phylis for her passion to write and not being afraid to do so and Harriet for her determination.
