    Biography

I was born in New York and have lived in Westchester, a suburb of NYC all my life. I am part Dominican and part French. I attended NYU and School of Visual Arts in NYC. 2010 marked a change in my life with the publication of my debut novel, Mourning Doves After The Fire. My professional experience and my passion are very different. My experience in office management which pays my salary has made up the majority of my professional activity for nearly twenty years. I enjoy reading and writing fiction. The process of creating and nurturing characters on paper is very challenging and I try to write at least a page a day. The process is to gather the bulk of research material and transform it into a narrative that is both pleasing to read and moves the story forward. I am currently working on two novels. I also write book reviews for Good Reads and Amazon.

    Inspiration

My inspiration comes from anything creative. I enjoy my travels into New York City on weekends to soak up some culture by going to films, museums, restaurants, an occasional visit to a bookstore and of course to note in my pad anything of interest.
