Biography

Mr. Carl "Cal" Tuohey has lived his entire life in the Erie Canal town of Medina, New York. He and his wife, Jeanne, have been married for 34 years and have two children, Elizabeth and Jackson. In addition to his career as a systems analyst, Mr. Tuohey has taken on many endeavors. These include acting, stand up comedy, hosting two local cable television shows, organizing and running a men's basketball league, running the local softball league, coaching his son´s basketball teams, serving on the local school board, president of his village´s Business Association, president of the county Chamber of Commerce, and starting his own computer business.

Inspiration

As I was writing articles for my Tae Kwon Do's newsletter I wondered if I could combine them into a book. Then, the thought hit me of writing a book about earning a Black Belt at a later stage in life. I then had a platform for combining my newsletter articles!
