Biography

I started originally in the art field. I knew from the beginning, from the time I first held a crayon, that art was my calling in life. My life as a writer came later very expectantly. I was introduced to a book series and it ignited me. It set me free. My obsession with reading ushered in a passion to create my own escapes to share with the world. I consider myself lucky to have to main passions in life: art and writing.

Inspiration

Reading is a tiny escape from the reality of the real word and its problems. Readers dissolve into a story and everything is better. I created new escapes with my books. I read and I write mostly young adult fiction novels (with a hint of fantasy or whimsy). This genre appeals to me mostly because I like the transition from childhood to adulthood. There is a mixture of pure youth innocence and new maturity. It is a time so full of possibilities that go on to influence the rest of one's life.
