"Murphy's Law" aptly describes my better days. I'm the fat kid that couldn't make it over the fence fast enough to avoid the farmer's rock salt shot when we'd try to get away with a few apples.

    Biography

"The Paramedic," my current title, is a labor of love. It started out on a "dare" from some friends who said I couldn't write erotic romance. Once I started writing, the pages turned to chapters and, two years later, my second novel. I also won the bet. Due to editing, re-editing, writing and re-writing, I'd bet I've read it, cover to cover, over one-hundred times; and I love it more every time. According to the reviews the book's been receiving, others do, too; and I thank them. I've been published in numerous newspapers, magazines, e-zines, etc. in various genres, but contemporary erotic romance has become my favorite. I am currently working on the sequel to The Paramedic, due out in Jan. 2008. When I'm not writing, I spend most of my spare time remodeling a ramshackle home I bought two years ago. When I run out of patience for the new "projects" I find every time I set out to fix something else, I play golf. Stop by and read some of my short stories, or order a copy of "The Paramedic" on my website, www.bgreenleaf.com

    Inspiration

Writing is its' own inspiration for me. To start out with an inkling of an idea and watch as it expands and grows into a believable story right in front of my eyes keeps me at my laptop at every opportunity. No matter how bad things are in the real world, in the writer's world, he or she can be anything they want to be: Smiter of past algebra teachers or King of the Isle of Nekked. ' I watch very little TV, (with the exception of The Sopranos). I prefer some good background music playing in my office as I write or surf the net for new places to share my stories. I do, however, love to read. I'm like a pit bull on a ham bone when a new Robin Cook or Tess Gerritsen book comes out. I also greatly enjoy Jules Verne and Edgar Allen Poe; but neither of them have come out with any new books lately.
