Biography
I am a mother of two children, a boy-10 and a girl-6. I have been married to my husband for 15 years. I was the director of a preschool and taught 4 year olds for 13 years, I have a bachelor's degree in English, I am a paraprofessional and live in NJ.Inspiration
The inspiration for my book came after my cousin died in 1999. He had a disease called Familial Dysautonomia. My cousin wasn't supposed to live to be a teenager but lived to be 43 years old. This disease did not get the best of Michael he fought every day. No matter what the day threw in his direction, Michael was up for the challenge. Every day was a new day for him. I always looked up to Michael, but never felt sorry for him. He would have never allowed it. I wrote this book to teach the importance of friendship and acceptance.Favorite NB Titles
