Biography

The author is a lifelong resident of the State of Maryland. She currently lives in the beautiful town of Havre de Grace on the Chesapeake Bay with her husband of 30 years and their 3 cats. She enjoys computers and computer games, baking cookies and reading with her cats in front of the fireplace. Her foray into writing began more than fifteen years ago when she started writing computer software and hardware reviews for publication in print as well as on the Internet. "The Portal to Forever" is her first novel to reach publication.

Inspiration

Books by David Eddings, Terry Brooks, Stephen King and others fill my library and inspired me to write "The Portal to Forever". I have read a lot of books in my lifetime and am frequently annoyed by what I call "filler material" which adds little to the storyline but seems to have been added to make it a longer book. I have done my best to avoid falling into that same trap so my book is shorter than it might have been and a more enjoyable read.
