Inspiration
After having to give up the only sport I can enjoy, bowling, I had plenty of time on my hands. Being a big fan of the Sci-Fi genre, I just started writing on Window's Wordpad a story that had been with me since childhood, for the sole purpose of helping me get to sleep at night, as I ran through my mind different adventurous scenerios of a boy born with abnormalities. Within just a few month's time, the short story had evolved into a solid novel. I didn't know if anyone would publish it or not, but I had to find out. After a few rejections, I suddenly had a few interested publishers. Before I knew it, the story was officially published which encouraged me to continue on with the story and write a sequel. That's when I knew that I enjoyed writing stories, since I had a hard time reading, having chronic A.D.D. to the point that I just couldn't read anything at all without my mind constantly drifting off into unnecessary trivial thoughts, causing me to continuously go back and seek the part that I had drifted off. I like making up stories for people to read, as well as making them laugh. I was pleased when my Aunt told me she had quite a few laughs reading my book, even though there were tragedies in it as well. I think all good books should have some comic relief, no matter how serious they are. My inspiration is entertaining people.
