Biography

In my wordsmithing career spanning three decades, I’ve worked in newspapers, PR firms, and corporate communications. Since I started Barbara McNichol Editorial in 1994, it’s been my honor to edit more than 250 business and other nonfiction books for authors and professional speakers. Dedicated to helping writers make their voices sing on the page, I specialize in editing nonfiction articles, books, proposals, and one-sheets. I also provide programs and teleclasses to improve your writing, whack wordiness, and telling your story powerfully on the page. Inspiration

I'm inspired by playing tennis in the Arizona sun, dancing in my Nia classes, hanging out with my sweetie (my hubster Byron), networking with my Book Buddies and my colleagues at National Speakers Assocation. I'm totally inspired by the fabulous messages authors strive to put out into the world. I'm honored to be part of their quality tema. Most of all, I'm inspired by the magic of words, fueled by my enthusiam to help people make their dreams come true through the written word.
