Biography

I grew up in Miami,FL but have spent most my years in New Haven,CT. Growing up Afro-Cuban American there are many things I can relate to, so it's surprising that almost none the things I could identify with were never in books.

Inspiration

I wake up, and I see everything. I read books, play video games, fantasize about mythical creatures, adore the show "Supernatural", but with all those things, I never see a ton of people who look like me. I respect women like Celia Cruz an Afro-Cuban musician for never giving up he vision of reaching the world through song. There are authors like Tananarive Due and Octavia Butler whom were also able to do this through literature, and let little stand in their way.
