Biography
Born Washington D.C. 1954. Grew up in Rockville, Maryland. Attended Rockville High School until 1972, then left for U.S Army. Served three years in Germany. Worked various jobs until finally settling in Delaware in 1977 where he attended Delaware Technical College and received nursing degree in 1983. Began writing in 1990. First novel, Skin Deep, a medical thriller, published in 2006. Since 2006 has published seven additional novels. Currently lives in Delaware with his wife and children. Bill's latest novel, Microbe is set to be a major motion picture by Paramount Pictures. Filming is set to begin in early 2009.
Inspiration
Main inspiration is the treasure-trove of ideas that come from being in the medical field. Always something interesting that can be fictionalized to make an exciting read. Writing influences include, Earnest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, and more recently, Michael Crichton.
