Biography

I am almost 88 years old with the energy and stamina of a 40 year old. I was a professional ballet dancer (studied with the famous Balanchine) fitness consultant for the Gillette company, author of a published book about fitness in 1979, fitness instructor, author of many published essays and a professional sculptor. I am proudest of being the mother of 3 amazing adults and grandmother of 5 amazing grandchildren. I still love to teach and have spent most of my free time creating art and dance programs for the handicapped or underprivileged. I believe that a positive attitude is more of an influence on one's life, than lifestyle.I have been blessed with creative talent and writing uplifting and inspiring copy is one way I can give back to others some of what I have experienced throughout the truly exciting and rewarding years of my life.

Inspiration

I began to write at the age of 12 and in high school wrote short stories with surprise endings. I guess I am a true artist..spiritual, sensitive and full of passion for life, nature, music, harmony. I have always had a strong need for self-expression. I knew at age 6 that I was born to dance, and studied and performed ballet for many years.I was chosen to be in the original cast of "Oklahoma", but chose marriage instead. After I had a family, I took up sculpting as a way to express my emotions. I have sold many of my work to major collectors. Almost every sculpture looks like a dancer. I never stopped loving writing and in 1979 I wrote a book called "Shower Power", exercises one can do in a shower. I promoted my book on T.V. shows out west, my last one was with Arnold Schwarzenegger! I do hope to sell my new book as an E book and offer my readers advice should they have any questions.After all these years I hope my wisdom and experience will inspire them!
