Biography

I graduated with honors in two degrees from Indiana University: Liberal Arts and Doctor of Jurisprudence. Practiced law in Indianapolis from 1972-1978, then joined Sundstrand Corporation as a legal executive in 1978. In 1999, Sundstrand Corporation was acquired by United Technologies Corporation, and I moved to Connecticut with the merger. My specialties were litigation and antitrust law. I retired from UTC in 2002, and thereafter taught business law at a Connecticut university. My first book was published in May, 2005, and my second one was just made available.

Inspiration

My inspiration for writing came from my father. We had planned on writing together, but my father died young, so I carried on without him. But I didn't really have much time to write, except for legal documents and articles, until I retired. Since then, I've made up for lost time.
