Biography

Probably the most telling thing about me, is that I took off on a sailboat for 6 years and traveled 25,000 miles. The fact that I didn't really know how to sail when I started out, never entered my mind. I had no life raft aboard, and no electronics to speak of. Just my sextant, taffrail log, compass and hubby Tom. I'm still married to this great guy...33 years this summer, and it's been 33 years of adventure and fun...absolutely never a dull moment. I have 2 sons, Jered and Ben, who are the light of my life. I still own a boat, but now I also own a horse, a Harley, and have several books to my name. I taught high school for many years. I loved the kids but got sick of the same-o, same-o. If I ever grade another paper or attend another faculty meeting I'll shoot myself. I like to think about angels for some odd reason. And you know, I insist on overcoming fears. I don't want to die regretting that I didn't do a bunch of things in life because I was too afraid.

Inspiration

I'm not sure I've ever been inspired as much as I've been driven. It's like I'm addicted and can't stop! It's an obsession. I just give in to it nowadays.
