Biography

Established in 2007. "Great Books, Affordable Reading" is our motto and like the big New York houses, we only accept well-written material for publication. The difference is that, because of the cost savings in the eBook model, we can "take a chance" on projects that may not appeal to a mass market as well as projects that don't "fit" the "formula" (too short, subject matter not "mainstream", that sort of thing).

Inspiration

We saw too many really good manuscripts that failed to be accepted by legitimate publishers. The authors either gave up or resorted to the rather expensive and risky route of self-publishing where they faced the challenge of differentiating themselves from the often "humdrum" offerings that exist in the self-published world. Since no one else was doing it, we decided to jump into the new field of electronic publishing with the twist of publishing only quality manuscripts.
