    Biography

I have always had an active imagination. Ever since I can remember, I have had a strange fascination with anything supernatural—ghosts, magical powers, and oh…vampires. What could be more alluring than being immortal, all-powerful, and eternally beautiful? (Sorry, vampire purists, in this fantasy the Hollywood version rules). After discovering historical romance novels in high school (thanks mom), it was only natural that the supernatural and love/romance elements should someday meet in my wonderland of a brain. I’m glad they did for their children have been pouring onto the computer screen ever since. Whoever said it was bad to be a daydreamer with your head in the clouds…futuristic planets and underground, subculture worlds? I don’t know about you, but I would much rather play there than in reality. So far I have written several historical romances, supernatural romances, a contemporary romance and horror books—including a vampire series, Tribes of the Vampire! Hopefully, someday, you will get a chance to read them all. Who knows what the future will hold for me. I only know that whatever it is, I will keep creating stories.

    Inspiration

I've always loved telling stories, whether with words or photographs, and invoking emotions through those means. There's nothing better than that clench of worry and anticipation in your stomach, a big grin you can't control, anger at a character who acts a fool or bouts of laughter as you devour pages of a really good book. I love exploring the range of human emotions, and occasionally the supernatural ones as well. Inspiration for my books can come from anything--a feeling from a song, a piece of obscure history, the look of a room. The key to remember is to never close your mind, but be open to the experiences around you.
