Born on January 15, 1973 in Conway South Carolina, and currently resides in the Grand Strand area of South Carolina with his Life Partner of ten years, Jerry. HD Hatcher is the author of, In the Heart of the Closet which was released in 2005 and has been nominated for both a 2006 Stonewall Book Award as well as a 2005 Lambda Literary Award. HD Hatcher is an avid supporter of gay and lesbian causes, suicide prevention programs, as well as Animal Rights.Inspiration
