For authors and writers working in New England, or have an affiliation with the region, including authors who write about New England within their works. This is an opportunity to connect and discuss both regional issues of marketing and distribution as well as talk about how to describe and write about New England's many facets. How are its landmarks, social attitudes and people portrayed in literature and non-fiction? And of course, this group will also share our stories about the process of writing and publishing our works as independent writers.

Welcome

Just a general welcome as the group gets underway. My name is Andrew and I live in the metro Boston area. I regularly write about the region in my weekly blog posts and have included parts of New England in my fiction writing.

I lived in Las Vegas for 8 years before moving out to New England (it was a massive culture shock if you can imagine) but after being a west coast boy growing up, in Boston as an adult, I have really found my home.

I'm happy to talk with other writers, and if you happen to live in or love New England, that's just a bonus!
