I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions about having your work in Childrens Books considered for publication. I have sent the manuscript in to several publishers of childrens books with no results. I knew the chances were very slim, but I wanted to try.
Would it be better to self publish these books too? I have a series of four books completed, "The Adventures Of Dusty Boy". "Dusty Boy Meets Silly Sue", "Dusty Boy Meets Grandma", ETC. I would need to have an illustrator for these books also. Some of the big name publishers want to do their own illustrations. But what do you do to self publish? Go online and advertise for one? Or perhaps try to find an agent?
Does anyone have any serious suggestions to this dilemma? I have already self-published two non-fiction books. "The Journey, The Dreams, & AnnaBelle", plus a follow-up to it titled "AnnaBelle's Spirit". However, I would really love to go through a traditional publisher for these childrens books.
Sounds interesting!!! I think you have done some very good work. The name of the books are interesting. But I feel sorry for you as I can't do anything for you.
